Seb insisted that I wear these glasses this morning. Thankfully he took a fancy to them himself, at least temporarily... and just fyi, that's a real live kiss from the Sebbers.

P.S. These glasses have a history. Freshman year of college. Bam.

Divine, aren't they? I came by Nell's blog via Baby Space, and was instantly smitten with it and her darling little shop. These pieces certainly shot to the top of my wishlist for the baby. If I have a girl, you're going to beg me to stop talking about leggings and tights. Is it possible to find some light enough for the North Carolina summers? I may never make another blog post just to ensure that these photos stay at the top. So beautiful. Well done, mom of Nell!

This afternoon

Seb is napping, I napped, I made soup—mmm it smells so good—and Cody is reading a little Plato as he prepares for classes tomorrow. 

I love afternoons like this.

Home again

Being home again has been quite the adjustment, but a nice one. After a month of traveling, during which we hit Ohio, Washington, and Kentucky, it's so nice to be in one spot. We filled our fridge with loads of fresh produce, yogurt and milk, and have been slowly unpacking. Of course, there's been lots of time for lounging about and playing. I hope you all are well and enjoying a little relaxation from the hectic, and wonderful, Christmas season.

Decor | Striped sheets

 There are few places where stripes look as good as they do on a bed. A sentiment that it seems Joanna would agree with. I love these sheets that she found!

Speaking of stripes, my mom just gave me some lovely striped fabric that will someday be turned into curtains for the nursery. I'm so excited! Do you have any stripes in your home?
