According to Elle magazine, Michael Kors said, "It's time to get rid of all those painful heels and too-tight dresses." My response?
Thank you, Mr. Kors.
Obviously these styles are approachable and comfy—what's not to love about that?—but what I am taken with most of all are the pops of color surrounded by a strong neutral base, the balance of top and bottom, and most of all, the cozy, but not beachy feel. There is a strong sense of sophistication in these outfits, and that I love. It is impractical for me as a stay-at-home mom to invest in fancy heels, sexy dresses and ruffled blouses, but I really don't enjoy wearing a t-shirt and sweats every day either. My favorites of these looks are the skirts with a fitted top—love the flouncy purple skirt (hey! even mom's need to dress up sometimes). I hope I can find some sweet deals this Spring!
