Two days ago I again picked up my copy of My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers. (Oswald... now that's a good name!) It is such an encouraging little text and a great way to start your day, especially if you only have a few moments to yourself. This morning's reading was the start of a mini-series of sorts beginning with the word arise. If you really think about it, that word in itself has the power to send chills up and down your spine. I'll let you take a look, and be encouraged this morning by the words. I know I have the tendency to feel downtrodden and weary, but if we will only arise, God will give us life.
